Box Score Monmouth jumped out to a 2-1 lead at Cornell, but the Rams responded in the second half, downing the Scots 13-7.

Back-to-back goals by Kara-Jade Gordon on her way to a six-goal night gave the Scots the early lead in the first three minutes of the game. Cornell answered and knotted the game at 3-3 with a goal in the final 10 minutes of the half. The Rams then inched ahead with a goal just two minutes before intermission.

Cornell bunched their second half goals, building a 9-4 lead in the first 10 minutes of the second half before Lexi Tibbs picked up her second assist, feeding Gordon for another tally. Back-to-back Rams' goals followed as the Scots would not get any closer.

Monmouth travels to Loras for a 1 p.m. match this Saturday.
