Box Score Monmouth converted on nearly half their shots, but fell on the road at Illinois Wesleyan Wednesday night.

The Titans jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Kara-Jade Gordon scored her first of two goals in the 21-3 setback. Gordon's two cage-finders in the first half came on four Monmouth shots as the Scots made good use of their opportunities. Lexi Tibbs notched her first goal of the season to wrap up Monmouth's scoring with 2:00 left in the game. Kaitlin Korf notched eight saves in her second game of the season.

The Scots travel to Carroll Saturday for a 1 p.m. match in Waukesha, Wis.
