Thomas Van Alstine began Monmouth's six-goal string. The sophomore's second of three goals in the game knotted the match at 6-6 with four minutes left in the third quarter and newcomer
Mitch Perez tallied his first of two scores in the final seconds of the third frame to give Monmouth the lead for good.
Croy Seagren joined in the multiple goal game with Perez, Van Alstine and Knapp when he punched in Monmouth's final goal with five minutes left for an 11-6 lead, more than enough for goalkeeper
Chase Cranford who made 11 saves in his collegiate debut in the cage.
