Leading 31-30 entering the third quarter, the Scots pulled away to a double digit lead in the first four minutes of frame when
Carley Turnbull scored six of her game-high 20 points. Monmouth outscored the Green Knights 23-14 in the third period and then pushed the lead to 15 when
Shayne Smith opened the fourth quarter with a layup and a 3-pointer in the first minute of play.

The Green Knights trimmed the deficit to five twice in the final quarter before the Scots where able to hold off the rally with four free throws in the final minute.

Allie Meyers posted a perfect 7-for-7 mark from the floor, collecting her second double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Smith added 17 points and
Becca Gallis 15 as the Scots shot 50 percent from 3-point range and 53 percent overall.
