The Scots couldn't overcome the hot hands of No. 24 UW-Whitewater, falling to the Warhawks 83-55 Tuesday night at Glennie Gym.

Whitewater hit 18 of their 29 shots in the first half, including a 7-for-10 performance from 3-point range to take an early lead. The Scots clawed back from a 48-26 halftime deficit, and cooled the Hawks' hot shooting, but couldn't make up the margin despite holding Whitewater to 35 second half points.

Will Carius paced the Scots with 14 points and eight rebounds.
