Monmouth got on the board early and often in a 6-0 blanking of Illinois College Tuesday at Peacock Park.
 
The Scots' first goal in the first minute deflected off a Lady Blue on a Monmouth corner kick to give the Scots the only goal they would need on the IC own goal. Jacie Reis and Shelby Sims each added goals before the 17^th minute to add insurance goals. Four different Scots scored after firing off 39 shots, 20 in the first half to net a 4-0 halftime lead. Reis finished the day with a pair of goals, placing half her six shots on goal.
 
Monmouth's defense surrendered just four IC shots and only one on goal. The Scots also held an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks.
 
Conference play continues for Monmouth this weekend when their doubleheader at Lake Forest and Lawrence begins a four-game road trip.
