Monmouth is riding a three-match win streak at home and improved to 6-2 at Glennie Gym with a 3-2 win over Lake Forest Friday night.
 
The Scots took the opening set 25-20, the same score as Set 2 when Lake Forest knotted the match 1-1. Monmouth came back to take Set 3 by another 25-20 score and closed the match out with a 25-23 fourth set win to drop the Foresters into fifth in the Midwest Conference, one spot out of an MWC tournament berth with one week to play.
 
Monmouth hosts St. Norbert, third in the league, Saturday in a 1 p.m. match at Glennie Gym.
