Box Score Monmouth saw a solid defensive effort in the first half fade away in a 5-0 loss to St. Norbert Sunday afternoon.
 
The Scots trailed just 1-0 after the first 45 minutes as goalkeeper Chase Stroud turned aside four of the five shots he faced. Monmouth held the Knights scoreless for more than 30 minutes, but the Knights broke through with a pair of gaols in the 64^th and 66^th minute to open the lead.
 
Monmouth continues Midwest Conference play Saturday with a 3:30 contest against Knox at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
