Box Score Monmouth posted their second straight shutout in a 3-0 blanking of Ripon to open Midwest Conference play with a victory for the fourth consecutive year.
 
Agustin Miranda scored a pair of goals, his first in the 47^th minute off a penalty kick to give goalkeeper Chase Stroud the only cushion he would need. Monmouth's defense held the Red Hawks to just one shot as Stroud stoned the Red Hawks on a late penalty kick with the Scots leading 2-0.
 
Cadan Glattback gave the Scots an insurance goal in the 77^th minute with assists from Jack Ressler and Connor Oltman. Just eight minutes later, Lucas Sondgeroth fed Miranda for the senior's second goal.
 
Monmouth outshot the Red Hawks 21-1 and will host St. Norbert Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
