Box Score Monmouth broke back into the win column Tuesday night, but it took five hard-fought sets to do it in a 3-2 win over Eureka.

No set was decided by more than five points with the Red Devils putting the Scots in a 2-0 hole. Eureka won a marathon Set 1 27-25 and had a slightly easier time with a 25-20 Set 2 win.

The Scots then came alive, taking Set 3 26-24 and continued the rally in Set 4 with a 25-22 win to force the decisive Set 5. Monmouth jumped out to an early lead and finished off the match with a 15-11 win.

Monmouth travels to nearby Knox Friday and Saturday for the Knox Tournament.
