Thomas Van Alstine scored his first of a team-high three goals.He launched a second goal into the back of the net with less than five minutes left in the first half to cut Monmouth's deficit to 7-2, but the Scots were never able to close the gap closer than a five-goal margin.
Taitum Priewe and
Jerry Ivie added fourth quarter goals for the Scots who got a 15-save effort in goal from
Ryan Mountain.
Monouth returns home to host Concordia of Wisconsin next Saturday for a 4 p.m. start.
