Box Score The Fighting Scots drew league favorite Aurora for their road-opener and fell to the defending champs 23-1 Saturday afternoon.

Aurora blanked Monmouth in the first half before Joe Incorvati netted the Scots' lone goal in the third quarter. Jason Kunath turned in 14 saves in 60 minutes in the cage as Monmouth slipped to 2-2 on the season.

Monmouth returns home to host Heidelberg Wednesday at 4 p.m.
