Box Score Monmouth's defense improved over the final 30 minutes, but couldn't offset a sluggish first half in a 12-4 loss to Beloit.
 
The Scots' Kara-Jade Gordon gave Monmouth an early lead in the first two minutes before Beloit reeled off a series of firth half scores to take an 8-2 lead at halftime. The Bucs increased their lead in the first 10 minutes of the second half and held off a Monmouth flurry in the final five minutes. Ashley Castellanos goal with 4:22 left cut the margin to 11-3 and Gordon's second goal in the final minute kept her string of multiple goal games alive at eight.
 
Monmouth hosts Concordia of Wisconsin Sunday in a 1 p.m. matchup.
