Box Score Monmouth was perfect from the foul line and kept turnovers down in the first half, but couldn't overcome a St. Norbert 6-2 run in the final minutes of the first half in a 77-54 loss to the Green Knights.
 
The Scots and Knights traded baskets for much of the first half as Monmouth stayed within two possessions until St. Norbert canned back-to-back buckets with an and-one in the final minute of the half. After Maddie Dohleman's bucket with 41 seconds left in the half pulled the Scots within single digits, the Knights made good on a free throw to take a 37-27 lead at the break.
 
St. Norbert's hot hand to start the second half allowed the visitors to pull away to a 47-29 lead four minutes into final half. Monmouth rallied to keep pace with the Knights the rest of the way, but couldn't make up the deficit despite a 16-point night from Keri Dodson.
 
Monmouth hits the road Wednesday for a matchup with the league-leading Cornell Rams in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.
