Box Score One week after a historic win in the program opener, the Monmouth College men's lacrosse team posted another win for the history books, defeating Concordia University of Chicago 12-7 in the Scots Midwest Lacrosse Conference debut.

Monmouth took advantage of nine man-up opportunities, scoring six first quarter goals, including three in a one minute span to open up a 6-1 lead.
Croy Seagren staked the Scots to an early 1-0 lead before the Cougars countered just minutes later. A goal by
Joe Incorvati 30 seconds after Concordia's score gave the Scots the lead for good.

The Scots went on to take an 8-2 halftime lead and lead by as much as six with 6:36 to play in the fourth quarter before the Cougars rallied to trim the margin.

Taitum Priewe punched in four goals for the Scots who also got a hat trick from
Thomas Van Alstine.
Jason Kunath notched the second win in his career with a six save effort.

Monmouth will play their first road game next Saturday at Aurora. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
