Box Score Kara-Jade Gordon has set the bar high for the Monmouth women's lacrosse program, netting all four of the Scots' goals in an 18-4 loss to Augsburg Sunday afternoon.
The leading scorer for the women's soccer team in the fall, the multi-sport Gordon is showing her skills in lacrosse, netting seven goals in the first two games. The freshman's first goal in Sunday's matchup broke the ice with 14:23 to play in the first half. Gordon the erupted for three, second-half scores, the first just 13 seconds into the second half. She added another four minutes later. All four of Gordon's goals were unassisted.
Monmouth returns to action Saturday with a 2 p.m. contest at Dubuque before opening their home season on March 4.
