Box Score Monmouth led for 39 minutes in Saturday's 73-42 Midwest Conference road win at Beloit.

Beloit scored the game's first two points, but Shayne Smith's 3-pointer provided the fuel for the Scots' first league win this season. Smith scored five of the Scots first seven points to finish with a game-high 20. The Scots grew the first half lead to 25, 42-17 on a Maddie Dohlman layup in the final seconds of the half.

The Scots maintained the 20-point edge throughout the third quarter and pushed in to 30 in the final 10 minutes.

Monmouth continues league play Wednesday night when they host Knox at 7:30 p.m.
