Box Score Goal by Kara-Jade Gordon and Natalie Wolski helped Monmouth pull even in the Midwest Conference with a 2-1 win at Cornell Wednesday evening.

Locked in a scoreless tie at halftime, Gordon notched her first goal since returning from an injury to give the Scots the lead in the 48th minute. Seven minutes later she assisted on what proved to be the winning goal by Natalie Wolski, her first goal of the season. Knsey Arlt turned aside five of the six shots she faced in the game to log her fifth win of the season as Monmouth improved to 7-5 overall and 2-2 in league play. Monmouth outshot the Rams 17-14 and put nine shots on goal.

The Scots return home to host Illinois College this Saturday in a 1 p.m. start at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
