The Scots jumped out to a 5-0 lead as Abby Tucker served up an ace and Brooke Decker added a pair of kills, but the Prairie Fire chipped away to pull out teh Set 1 win 25-22. Set 2 was a close affair before Knox began to pull away with the set tied at 10-10. Set 3 followed the same scenario as the Fire held off the Scots down the stretch to take the deciding set 25-21.

Monmouth wraps up the season Saturday with a 1 p.m. home match against Grinnell.
