Box Score Freshmen Riley Cook and Abby Tucker combined for 23 kills to lead Monmouth past MacMurray 3-1 Tuesday night.

After dropping the first set 25=22, Monmouth eked out a 29-27 second set win on back-to-back kills by Cook and Ashley Farris. With Renee Rude serving late in Set 3, the Scots scored five straight points in a 25-18 win. Monmouth then held off the Highlanders in the game-winning fourth set when Lauren Sperry's seventh kill of the night gave Monmouth a 25-23 win.

Cook finished with 12 kills on .526 hitting while Tucker nailed 11 kills and hit .286.

The Scots play at Knox Friday night before wrapping up the season at home Saturday with Grinnell.
