Box Score Monmouth twice came back from the brink to post a 3-0 win over Eureka in the Devils' den Tuesday night.

Ashley Farris threw down a program-record 21 kills and hit .645 as the Scots rallied in Sets 1 and 3 to post the straight set win. Trailing 25-24 in the opening set, setter Laura Dulee and freshman Abby Tucker supplied kills as the teams traded points. The Scots eventually took Set 1, 28-26. Monmouth took command early in the second set with a 10-5 lead. Eureka closed the gap and led briefly late before the Scots took the final thee points.

The Scots found themselves down 24-21 in Set 3, but again rallied back. A kill by Bridgett Rayhill began a series of four straight points, putting Monmouth on top 25-24. The teams again traded points until Lauren Sperry and Farris nailed back-to-back kills for the 27-25 win.

Monmouth continues their road trip this weekend with a Friday match at St. Norbert and a Saturday date at lake Forest.
