Box Score Both teams rallied in a hotly contested match at Monmouth's Glennie Gym Wednesday night, and in the end Illinois College had pulled out a 3-2 win over the Fighting Scots.

Monmouth took an early lead in Set 1 before IC rallied after a timeout to take the set 25-21. The Lady Blues jumped to a 2-0 lead after a win in Set 2, but the Scots rallied to take the next two sets 25-18, 25-21 to force a final fifth set. Illinois College then got off to a fast start in the tiebreaker to win the match with a 15-7 Set 5 win.

The Scots enter Fall Break this weekend with a Friday night trip to Dubuque.
