Box Score Maddie Dohleman's  5-for-7 effort from the floor wasn't quite enough when Beloit hit exactly half their shots to sink Monmouth 64-37 in Beloit.

The Bucs jumped out to a 13-4 first quarter lead before Monmouth rallied back in the second frame as Dohleman hit all three of her first half shots. The Scots got balanced scoring in the second quarter as six Scots scored, but Beloit took a 31-24 halftime lead.

Monmouth cut the margin to eight midway through the third quarter on Keri Dodson's 3-pointer, and a jumper from Demi Johnson. That would be as close as the Scots would get when Beloit countered with a 14-2 run to pull away.

The Scots travel to Grinnell Tuesday for a 5:30 p.m. matchup with the Pioneers.
