Box Score In a game that saw the lead change seven times and the score tied six times, the Scots were unable to come away with the rivalry win on their home court, falling to Knox in the final minutes 74-70.
 
The Scots opened the game with the lead and managed to maintain it until the 3:59 mark of the first quarter. Led, in large part, by Keri Dodson's 17 first half points, the Scots opened up the game shooting 48.3% from the field. Freshman Yvonne Ornelas chimed in with nine points of her own, stroking three of her four three-point attempts in the first half of play.
 
An aptly timed 8-2 run to conclude the first half gave the Scots a 36-32 lead heading into the break.
 
The second half continued the back-and-forth action established in the first. Dodson would add nine more points to bring her game totals to 26 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Freshman off guard Rebecca Gallis chipped in 15 points and eight boards. Ornelas rounded out the Scots in double figures, finishing with 14 points and four assists.
 
In the end, a Prairie Fire basket with :11 left in the game downed the Scots.
 
The Scots (2-14, 2-9 MWC) travel to Beloit College for a Saturday afternoon rematch.
