Box Score Monmouth matched St. Norbert nearly shot-for-shot for the first 30 minutes, but the Scots ran out of gas in the fourth quarter fallign to the Knights 72-48.

The teams traded the lead four times in the first half as Monmouth took a six-point at 8-2 lead on Rebecca Gallis's jumper four minutes into the game. The Knights responded over the next 15 minutes, taking the lead for good on a 3-pointer with a minute left in the half.

The Knights stretched their lead to eight at 40-32 early in the third quarter before the Scots got a three from Yvonne Ornelas and a layup from Maddie Dohleman, cutting the deficit to 40-37. St. Norbert rallied in the final two minutes of the period with a 6-0 run to take their first double-digit lead in the game. The Knights held the Scots to four points over the final 10 minutes to preserve the win.

Gallis and Dohleman each finished with a dozen points for Monmouth who will host Grinnell Wednesday night at 5:30.
