Box Score  Monmouth gave No. 9 ranked St. Norbert a run for their money before the Green Knights were able to hanad the Scots a 65-40 road loss.

The Scots got balanced scoring throughout the first half and kept their deficit to single digits in the first half. A pair of Austin Holman free throws midway through the first half pulle dthe Scots within two and two more 'throws by Will Jones kept that margin four minutes later. St. Norbert regained a gap with a 13-7 run to end the first half.

St. Norbert began to pull away in the second half before a steal and layup by Jones cut the margin to single digits. A pair of Paul Engo free throws five minutes into the final 20 minutes kept the Scots within reach. The Knights countered with a 15-4 run to hold off the Scots.

Monmouth returns to Glennie Gym Wednesday for a 7:30 matchup with Grinnell.
