Box Score Monmouth College took to the road for a Monday night non-conference match in Bloomington, Ill., and managed to deny all 19 shots, seven of which were on goal but controlled by junior keeper Chase Stroud in the double overtime scoreless draw.
 
The Scots' improved defense didn't bend as the Titans were unable to score on any of their nine corner kicks.
 
Nonetheless, the Scots held for the entire 110 minutes of the match as Stroud turned aside three shots on goal in the extra 20 minutes. Monmouth nearly broke the draw in the 75^th minute when freshman Jack Ressler ripped a shot saved by the Titans' keeper.
 
Monmouth will enjoy a few days of training before heading back on the road, this time to Crawfordsville, Ind., for a double header this weekend.
