Box Score The Fighting Scots started five of their six seniors in the final game of the season but came up short in overtime falling 96-89 to the Lawrence University Vikings.
Matt Juhola gave the Fighting Scots a hot hand in the first half shooting 5-6 from the field and 2-2 from behind the arc to pour in 12 points in just 10 minutes on the court. The Scots dominated the glass in the first half and forced six turnovers.

Reed Goodbred chimed in with 9 points of his own as the Scots headed into the break with a one point lead, 37-36.
In the second half, Lawrence shot an incredible 63.2 percent from the floor scoring 45 points. Leading the way for the Vikings was Troy Miller and Jeremy Stephani who combined for six made three-pointers and 23 points.
The Scots had an answer of their own this time in the form of stellar freshman
Lamont Mitchell who bucketed 15 points in the half on his way to an 18-point afternoon.
Will Jones helped to push the attack with 10 of his own, including five rebounds.
The lead would change hands three different times in the final moments of regulation.
With the Scots up three following
Ben Friday's finish through the foul and a free-throw, the Vikings drove the lane and found Stephani for a game tying three-pointer. After a Scots turnover, Lawrence knocked in another three pointer, this time by Miller, to put the Vikings up three with 1:01 left in the game.
Following a made Miller free-throw, Jones split two defenders, got fouled, and finished the play to trim the lead to one.
The next possession down the floor Lawrence's Evan McLaughlin would cough up the ball that would lead to a jumper by
Lamont Mitchell for the lead heading into the final :16 seconds of the game.
McLaughlin would redeem himself on the line forcing the game to overtime making 1-2 free-throws with :06 left in the game.
In overtime, the Lawrence lead would grow as large as seven before the final horn expired.

Matt Juhola would finish with 18 points and six rebounds.
The Fighting Scots finish the year 13-10 overall, 9-9 in the Midwest Conference.
