Jeni Crain scored two of her team-high 10 points to open the second half and
Rebecca Gallis added a jumper on the next possession as the Scots cut a 28-19 halftime hole to seven at 30-23 before the Dutch drained a pair of 3-pointers and went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the first two minutes of the third quarter to open up a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game. A bucket-and-one from Crain ended Central's 16-4 run in the third period as the Scots came back to outscore the hosts in the final frame.
Keri Dodson pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds as Monmouth controlled the boards with a 39-37 advantage.

The Scots return to action next Wednesday, hosting Lake Forest in a 5:30 p.m. Midwest Conference tipoff.
