Box Score Keri Dodson and Rebecca Gallis scored 16 points each as Monmouth gave Coe a run in the first half before cooling in the second half of a 97-56 loss in Cedar Rapids, Saturday afternoon.
 
Gallis pumped in 14 first half points and Dodson 11 as Monmouth trialed just 45-35 at the intermission. The Kohawks opened the second half with a 13-2 run and opened a gap Monmouth couldn't overcome.
 
The Scots were hampered by 2-of-12 shooting in the third quarter and Coe's 46-18 game advantage in the paint.
 
Monmouth will resume play Dec. 28 with a road game at Central before returning home for a Jan. 4 date with Lake Forest
