Box Score Brad Dulee broke the ice, Justin Seeley netted the game-winner and Martin Zafirov added insurance in Monmouth's 3-1 win over Augustana Tuesday afternoon at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
 
The Scots got on the board quickly when Dulee scored off a Penalty Kick in the seventh minute. The Vikings' defense then held the Scots scoreless for the remainder of the first half.
 
Monmouth ramped up the offensive pressure in the second half and took advantage of a deflection when Seeley notched his second game-winning goal of the season. Leading 2-0, Zafirov added an insurance tally in the 68^th minute, just five minutes after Seeley's score.
 
Augustana broke the shutout with a Matthew Allen goal in the 87^th minute.
 
Monmouth is off until Monday when the Scots travel to Principia for a 6 p.m. matchup.
