Box Score Monmouth's defense tightened in the second half, but the Scots were unable to overcome a 3-0 halftime deficit in a 4-0 loss to Lake Forest Sunday afternoon.
 
The Foresters scored the trio of first half goals within a nine minute span and kept the Scots at bay. Monmouth put half their shots on goal, but could not slip on past the Foresters' keeper.
 
Nicole Neagle recorded four saves for the Scots who will travel to Lawrence on Saturday.
