Box Score An early goal proved to be enough as Monmouth fell to Lake Forest 2-0 Sunday afternoon at Peacock Park.
 
The Scots responded with improved defense after the Foresters scored in the first minute, holding Lake Forest at bay for more than 80 minutes. The Foresters didn't add the insurance goal until the 82^nd minute as Chase Stroud turned in a seven-save performance.
