Box Score Monmouth moved into fifth place, one position out of a Midwest Conference berth, with a 2-1 overtime win over Beloit Saturday afternoon.

All the action occurred after 55 minutes as the teams battled through a scoreless draw until the Scots'
Martin Zafirov scored the game's first goal.
Agustin Miranda and
Brad Dulee teamed to feed Zafirov for the ice-breaker in the 56
th minute as Monmouth pounded 15 shots in the second 45 minutes.

Beloit took just 11 minutes to knot the game at 1-1 when Emmett Hendrickson's shot bounced off the post and into the net.

Neither team was able to get an advantage in the remainder of regulation or the first overtime as the goalkeepers combined for 13 saves.

Monmouth earned their third league win when
Daniel Wells found Miranda for the game-winner in the 102
nd minute.
