Box Score Jacie Reis scored her first collegiate goal, but it wasn't enough for Monmouth to fight off Knox in a 7-1 loss in Galesburg.

Trailing 3-0 in the first half, Reis punched in an unassisted goal to break the ice for the Scots in teh 38th minute. The Scots fired off nine shots, five in the second half, but could not find the back of the net the rest of the afternoon.

The Scots travle to Hannibal-LaGrange for a Wednesday matchup before returning home on Oct. 7 to host Cornell in a Midwest Conference matchup.
