Box Score Monmouth held the University of Dubuque to just four shots in the first half, but the Spartans attack found success in the second half to down the Scots 4-0.
 
Chase Stroud turned in a six-save effort for the Scots, but Dubuque found their range in the second half firing off eight shots and connecting on three scores. The Spartans notched the game's first goal in the 35^th minute, converting a corner kick into the eventual game-winning goal.
 
Monmouth's offense improved their attack in the second half, ripping five shots but none found their intended mark. Dubuque added a pair of insurance goals within a two minute span of the second half to clinch the road win.
 
The Scots get back into Midwest Conference play this weekend hosting St. Norbert and Ripon in a Saturday-Sunday doubleheader.
