Box Score It took another overtime, but the Monmouth College women stayed unbeaten at home in the Midwest Conference with an 85-76 win over Grinnell.
 
Kathleen Forest gave Monmouth a quick 69-67 lead in overtime and Paige Nord connected on the next possession for the only field goals the Scots would score in the extra session. Monmouth then went on to sink 14-of-15 free throws to pull out the win.
 
Grinnell rallied twice from large deficits, climbing back from 19 down in the second half to force OT. Monmouth led the entire second half until Grinnell's Alissa Hirsh hit a free throw with three seconds left. Regulation ended in a 67-67 draw in the game that took two hours to complete.
 
Katie Houston led the Scots with 21 points and 15 rebounds.  She hit all eight of her free throws in the overtime period while Kelsey Walsberg went 6-for-6 from the line in OT to finish with 11 points. Forrest poured in 19, Emily Watkins added 14 and Nord chipped in 10.
 
Monmouth defeated league-leader St. Norbert in overtime at Glennie Gym in the Scots' last home game.
