Box Score Katie Houston had a history-making night but the Scots came up just a bit short in a 116-111 loss to arch rival Knox.

Houston dialed in the program's first triple-double with 26 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists in the double-overtime game. Monmouth led for most of the game and took a double-digit lead at 77-66 two minutes into the fourth quarter before the Prairie Fire surged back, knotting the game at 96-96 on a 3-pointer in the final 10 seconds of regulation.

Knox gained a 101-98 lead with 2:30 left in the first overtime before Houston knotted the game at 102-102 on a pair of free throws with 1:33 left. The senior kept the Scots alive less than a minute later sinking a bucket to draw even at 104-104 after Knox had regained the lead. Her defensive rebound with 15 seconds left in the first OT sent the game into the second extra session.

The Prairie Fired edged ahead in the last OT, scoring a bucket-and-one with 21 seconds left for a 113-111 lead. The Scots immediately took a time out, but an ensuing turnover dashed their chances for a road win.

Keri Dodson recorded her first career double-double for the Scots with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Kelsey Walsberg added 23 points while
Emily Watkins added 20 and
Tia Robertson chipped in with 18.
