Monmouth fell behind by 10 late in the opening frame, but back-to-back 3-pointers from
Keri Dodson and
Kelsey Walsberg in the last two minutes, plus a short jumper from Walsberg in the final 30 seconds trimmed the Scots' deficit to 22-18 to end the first 10 minutes.

Following buckets by Dodson and Walberg to open the second quarter,
Tia Robertson pulled the Scots within one at 26-25 before the Buccaneers began the decisive run. The Bucs outscored the Scots 16-2 over the next seven minutes to open up a 45-30 halftime lead and kept the Monmouth at bay in the second half.

Katie Houston paced Monmouth with 17 points while Walsberg added 15 and Dodson chipped in with 14.
