Box Score Monmouth celebrated Senior Day knocking off league co-leader Knox 2-1 at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
 
The Prairie Fire scored first, in the 30^th minute when James Barrington corralled a rebound and put in the game's first goal.
 
The Scots answered just two minutes later when Max Daniels fed Agustin Miranda who deposited his shot the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
 
The defenses then clamped down, limiting both teams' chances for the next 40 minutes. Monmouth broke the tie when Carlos Ruiz' corner kick was headed in by Luke Vandenberg for the winning tally in the 71^st minute.
 
Monmouth will host Illinois College Tuesday afternoon in the Scots' final home match of the season.
