Box Score Monmouth's win streak over Knox ended at 25 games after the Prairie Fire handled the Scots 111-90 in Galesburg.

The Fighting Scots led early on a Paige Nord bucket, but couldnt' keep pace with Knox running The System. The Fire launched 60, 3-pointers making 17 of them to pull away after halftime.

Trailing 41-31 with 5:41 left in the first half, the Scots came back on back-to-back buckets by Ally Friday and Kelsey Walsberg. Tiffany Churchill's free throw then cut the Fire lead to 41-36, but Monmouth would get no closer.

Walsberg led with a game-high 25 points while Friday added 17 and Kathleen Forrest chipped in with 11. The loss dropped the Scots into a tie for sixth in the Midwest Conference standings with Knox.
