Box Score Monmouth couldn't quite grab a piece of the Midwest Conference lead after falling to St. Norbert 76-62 at Glennie Gym.
 
The Scots hit just 22-of-58 shots from the floor and went 12-of-23 from the line, but still kept the game close until the final minute. The Green Knights eventually grabbed a double digit lead midway through the second half, but couldn't put the Scots away. A 3-pointer from Nick Marema with 5:37 left in the game cut the deficit to 56-46 and Jon Calhoun's two free throws a minute later cut it to 58-50.
 
St. Norbert responded and inched back to a double digit lead before the Scots put on one last surge when Will Jones drained a three to pull Monmouth back to 66-58 with 1:36 to play. St. Norbert then hit 7-of-8 free throws in the final minute to stay unbeaten in league play.
 
Marema and Riley Blea led the Scots with 12 points each.
