Box Score Monmouth couldn't quite match their defensive show from one week ago, falling at KNox Saturday 4-1.

The Scots had held Cornell shotless in the MWC opener last week, but the Prairie Fire had hot feet this weekend, outshooting Monmouth 21-9. LUke Cogan kept the Fire out of the net until the 34th minute when Knox scored their first of two goals in the half.

After Knox posted a thrid goal inteh 64th minute, Monmouth answered in the 78th minute when Brad Dulee fed Jake Cogan for Cogan's team-leading fourth score. Monmouth's hopes for a comeback ended when Knox scored an insurance goal with less than five minutes left in the contest.
