Jake Cogan scored his team-leading third goal this season, taking a feed from Justin Seeley to give the Scots an early 1-0 lead. Monmouth peppered the Sabres' keeper with 11 shots on goal, but just one found the net.
 
Marian knotted the game at 1-1 on a goal in the 43^rd minute and then took the lead on a 25-yard blast just 30 seconds later. The Sabres iced the game with their third goal in the 88^th minute.
 
For the second day in a row, the Scots posted a nearly identical stat line as their opponent, but came up just short.
