The only difference Saturday in the Monmouth and Concordia (Wis.) contest was a pair of scores off rebounds by the Falcons in a 2-0 win over the Scots.
 
The stat line was nearly identical for the 90 minutes, Monmouth outshot Concordia 11-10 and Concordia put seven shots on goal to the Scots' six. Concordia got the edge early when Monmouth goalkeeper Luke Cogan stopped a shot from point-blank range, but the Falcons put the deflection in at the 35^th minute for the first score.
 
Concordia's scoring scenario repeated itself in the 62^nd minute to move to a 2-0 lead. Monmouth had contained the Falcon offense for much of the second half until the final tally.
