Box Score Monmouth had to hold off Illinois College down the stretch to earn a 63-55 win at Glennie Gym.

The Lady Blues rallied from 10 down with 7:05 to go and then forged a 55-55 tie on Hannah McGinnis' bucket in the lane with 1:41 left. It turned out to be IC's final points of the game as the Scots' Marla Willard hit 5-of-6 free throws in the final 90 seconds to help hold off IC. The rest of the Scots went 3-for-6 in the final 30 seconds of the game as the Scots stayed in third place in the Midwest Conference at 11-3 and dropping IC to 8-5 in the league.

IC's McGinnis led all scorers with 21 points while Jacquice Cooper's 14 paced Monmouth.
