Illinois College hit over half of their 3-point tries, but it was a trey by the Scots' Chad Thompson that cut the IC lead to 44-37 with 1:07 left in the first half. IC's Nathan Kohler sank a pair of free throws just before intermission on his way to a 32 point night to give the Blueboys a 46-37 halftime lead.

Cole Jackson's trey to open the second half pulled the Scots back within six at 46-40, but the Blueboys countered with three straight baskets to pull out to a double-digit lead.
