Kaley Corban's jumper and ensuing steal started a 12-2 run as the Scots cut it to 48-44 on an Emily Watkins free throw with 7:25 remaining. Monmouth couldn't quite get over the hump as the Pioneers stayed a spot behind the third-place Scots inthe Midwest Conference standings.
