Box Score Monmouth has sole possession of third place in the Midwest Conference after a 68-46 win at Lawrence.

A pair of Kaley Corban free throws with 6:00 left in the first half gave the Scots a 25-14 lead, but they saw that lead dwindle to 31-25 by halftime. Corban and Paige Nord responded after the break, hitting back-to-back buckets to spark Monmouth's offense.

Marla Willard's bucket-and-one five minutes into the second half gave the Scots a 12-point lead at 43-31 as the Vikings never got within single digits the rest of the way.

Nord and Corban finished with 12 points each while Willard added 10.
