Box Score Monmouth overcame an early hole to score a 76-73 come-from behind win over UW-River Falls.

The Fighting Scots erased a nine-point deficit early in the first half and then raced to a nine-point halftime lead as five Scots scored in double digits. Chad Thompson's 3-pointer with 6:26 left in the first half ignited an 18-2 run to end the first half, giving the Scots a 36-27 halftime lead.

Monmouth led for nearly all of the second half, but had to hit all four of their free throws in the final 23 second to hold off River Falls.

Jon Calhoun paced Monmouth with 18 points while Will Jones picked up 12 points and 10 rebounds. Thompson added a dozen while Andrew Mathison chipped in 11 and Matt Juhola finished with 10.
